Design Guidelines for Print Ready Artwork
- Allow 5 mm bleed on all sides where images must be cropped on the edges
- Convert RGB to CMYK and convert spot colours to CMYK if the colours are not corporate and the job is
required in CMYK - PDF files should have fonts & images embedded
- CDR files should have fonts embedded or converted to curves
- Bitmap (JPG) images should be at least 400 dpi* Set black text and fine lines to overprint
- Avoid using small text (below 7 pt) that is made up of more than one process colour
- Avoid using small text (below 7 pt) that is white, reversed out of a background that is made up of
more than one process colour - Text, logos etc. should be at least 5 mm away from the edge of the page.
